How Can swelling And Pain In The Knee Be Treated?

Hi. I have pain in the sick of my knee. The knee has swollen a bit and a bit warm. This is a problem that keeps recurring. This time it flared up when I was resting my leg on a coffee table with no support under my knee for a couple of hours. The pain is sharp when walking in certain positions.

Hello ,
thank you for your question . If you were my patient i would suggest you to undergo x-ray of the knee , as those symptomes are common of arthrosys of the knee . If possitive , it is treated with local corticosteroid creams , injections in the knee with corticosteroids , anaesthetics or hialuron acid . You will also benefit compressive bands .
Hope i have helped you
Best regards
